A traveler from the time he was born, Bill Laswell's discography reads like a series of postcards from around the planet. Years were spent on the road with his parents, moving frequently throughout the mid-west, eventually settling in Albion, Michigan when he was six. Barely a teenager. Blixt bassist Bill Laswell produced and played on Ginger Baker’s 1986 album, Horses & Trees (Celluloid). A longtime admirer of Baker, Laswell coaxed the ex-Cream drummer out of semi-retirement for the project. Then again, who has Laswell not worked with over the last thirty years? The most internationally celebrated of the Blixt trio, Laswell.
